Livelihood and food security
LTP aims at improving the livelihood resilience of smallholder farmers, women, youth, and people with disabilities. This project is contributing to increased household income and consequently improves the standard of living.
To date the project enabled 9,780 women and men to access financial services through the Villages Savings and Loan Association (VSLA). Enterprise development initiatives including other innovative Vocational and digital skills enhancement for youth to increase employment.
“It’s through the village savings and loan associations that the sustainability of LTPs water sources are enhanced through the integration of village savings and loans association into the operation and maintenance of water sources”.
