Construction of water sources

To date, LTP has constructed 766 safe water sources benefiting 183,300 people in Uganda.

Water, Hygiene and Sanitation Project (WASH) is LTP’s core project, LTP aims at improving community access to safe water and health of 1,500,000 vulnerable population of Uganda by 2024.

To date LTP has constructed 256 deep boreholes, 273 shallow wells, 190 protected springs, 2 solar motorized piped water systems, and rehabilitated 45 broken down hand pumps.

LTP contributes to a reduction in the prevalence of water-related diseases through increased access to safe water, hygiene, and sanitation facilities to the rural community and disaster-prone areas.
